About KeyAtlas
KeyAtlas is an independent national directory that helps drivers find automotive car-key locksmiths and compare quotes — built on real, publicly-sourced data with transparent provenance.
What we do
We aggregate car-key and automotive locksmith listings across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, organize them by state, metro, and city, and pair them with genuinely useful, sourced guidance about what car-key work costs and how to choose a pro. When you are ready to act, a free matching service lets you compare quotes from screened automotive locksmiths.
How listings are sourced
Our listings are sourced from public OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0) and shown with their real published contact details. Every listing carries its data provenance and a last-verified date. We display business phone numbers exactly as published — we never replace a listed business's number with a tracking number. What we are not
- We are not a locksmith. We do not cut, program, or replace keys.
- We are not a government agency, licensing board, or official registry, and we make no claim of official authority.
- We are not a review site. We do not collect, generate, or display ratings or reviews, and we do not rank or endorse any individual business.
The matching service
The "compare quotes / get matched" option is a free matching service operated by CarKeyNation. It is clearly separate from any single listed business's own contact details and is not a booking with a specific business — it routes you to screened automotive locksmiths so you can compare pricing and availability.
